Conception, design and implementation of a real-time rendering framework for the “Real-time Rendering” lecture.
The Real-time Rendering Framework is written in C++, OpenGL and GLSL and makes different basis features such as a free camera control, a texture loader, a model loader, a screen output for text and a shader class and fbo class with an example implementation available.
Various topics of real-time rendering such as Terrain Rendering, Bump-, Normal-, Parallax- or Relief Mapping, Non Photorealistic Rendering, Ambient Occlusion techniques such as SSAO, HBAO, SSDO and Soft Shadows were treated and some were implemented in the framework.
